Overview

The Libraries page is where LGF keeps the approved library source, installed platform libraries, archive history, and configured library bundles. The separate source-governance article has been retired, and source governance now lives inline on the Libraries page.

The top of the page gives you one primary action:

  • Library Sync refreshes the active library set from the configured source.

Below that, the page shows the current source summary and the downstream results of that source:

  • The active repository identity
  • The selected source and namespace
  • The clone URL in use
  • The installed platform library list
  • The latest archive entries

Configured Library Source

The configured source section is read-only from the operator workflow point of view and tells you:

  • Which repository is acting as the library source
  • Which host and namespace are trusted
  • Which clone URL is currently active
  • Which authority entries are allowed to participate in library operations

Use this section to verify that the page is pointing at the correct mirrored repository before you sync anything.

Installed Platform Libraries

The installed libraries area shows the platform bundles currently available to LGF. In the screenshots, they are grouped into families such as:

  • Business Operations
  • Development & DevOps

Each library card summarizes the package name, short identifier, and the role it plays in the overall platform catalog.

Library Archives

Every sync produces archive history so you can roll back to a prior approved state if needed.

When reviewing archives, look for:

  • The archive name or timestamp
  • The bundle version that was captured
  • The most recent successful sync point

Archives are useful when a source update needs to be reversed without rebuilding the entire platform catalog by hand.

Configured Library Bundles

Library bundles let you define and update the source metadata that LGF uses for syncing.

The bundle section includes:

  • Source Address for the bundle repository
  • Update Access Token for private source access
  • A read-only bundle identity header
  • The current bundle version badge
  • Buttons to save, remove, or sync a bundle

When you edit a bundle:

  1. Update the source address or access token.
  2. Click Save Changes or Save Library Bundles.
  3. Use Sync Bundle when you want to refresh that bundle specifically.

Syncing Libraries

  1. Open the Libraries page.
  2. Confirm the configured library source is correct.
  3. Review the bundle definition if you are pointing at a new repository.
  4. Click Library Sync to refresh the installed library catalog.
  5. Verify the archive entry and output log after the sync completes.

Expected Result

  • The active library source matches the approved repository.
  • Installed platform libraries reflect the latest synced state.
  • New archive entries are available for rollback.
  • Bundle configuration stays focused on source address and access token details.
