Linden Governed Frameworks (LGF) End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of the Linden Governed Frameworks ("LGF") software, platform libraries, related tooling, and associated materials provided by Linden Governed Frameworks or its authorized distributors.
By installing, accessing, or using LGF, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.
1. License Grant
LGF is licensed, not sold. Subject to compliance with this Agreement, you are granted a non-exclusive license to install, operate, and use LGF for internal business or personal use.
Unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement, ownership of deployed systems, customer data, backups, and operational environments remains with the operator or purchaser.
2. Permitted Use
LGF may be used to deploy, operate, manage, back up, restore, and maintain supported platforms and infrastructure environments.
You may create backups, migrate deployments, and modify operational configurations as required for your environment.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- Misrepresent LGF as your own proprietary product
- Redistribute proprietary LGF components without authorization
- Use LGF in violation of applicable laws or regulations
This Agreement does not restrict lawful modification, interoperability, or operational control of systems you own or operate unless otherwise prohibited by law.
4. Third-Party Software
LGF may deploy, integrate with, or manage third-party software platforms.
All third-party software remains subject to the licensing terms, trademarks, and usage restrictions of their respective owners.
Linden Governed Frameworks does not claim ownership over third-party platforms, trademarks, or associated intellectual property.
5. Support and Incident Response
Support availability may vary depending on the purchased support level, pilot agreement, or deployment arrangement.
Unless otherwise specified in a separate written support agreement:
- Support requests and incident reports will receive an initial response within 48 business hours.
- Response times do not constitute guaranteed resolution times.
- Support is provided on a commercially reasonable basis.
LGF does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continuous availability, or immediate remediation of operational issues.
6. Warranty Disclaimer
LGF is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- merchantability
- fitness for a particular purpose
- non-infringement
- uninterrupted availability
- error-free operation
Operational environments, infrastructure behavior, hardware compatibility, and third-party integrations may vary.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linden Governed Frameworks shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages
- consequential damages
- business interruption
- lost profits
- data loss
- operational downtime
- infrastructure failures
- third-party software failures
Total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable product or service during the preceding twelve (12) months.
8. Infrastructure Responsibility
Operators remain responsible for:
- validating backups
- maintaining security practices
- infrastructure monitoring
- disaster recovery planning
- legal and regulatory compliance
- operational suitability of deployed environments
LGF is designed for commercial IT infrastructure environments. Use outside validated or intended operational assumptions may fall outside supported or recommended deployment models.
9. Termination
This Agreement terminates automatically if you materially violate its terms.
Upon termination, you must cease redistribution of proprietary LGF components, but ownership of deployed systems and customer-controlled data remains with the operator.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the applicable laws of Canada.
11. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the complete agreement governing use of LGF unless superseded by a separate written agreement.
By using LGF, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Agreement and agree to its terms.
